Together, we Share Hope

earthquake URGENT RESPONSE

On August 14th 2021, a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti, killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands without shelter, food and water.

Share Hope is helping to address the enormous immediate needs my preparing emergency disaster relief packs for people in the impacted area. Many of the garment workers come form this area and their families live there and are in great need. Will you stand in solidarity with our Haitian brothers and sisters?

Share Hope has a goal to prepare disaster relief bags to distribute to 1000 families. The bags will contain much needed supplies, such as water filtration devices, solar battery chargers, personal hygiene items, dry food staples, analgesics, laundry soap, etc. We will do everything possible to avoid one of the grave mistakes of the 2010 earthquake relief strategies, buying as much as we can locally, including from the street merchants. These bags will be distributed through our partner Hope for Haiti. You can “purchase” one or more of these relief bags by clicking on the Donate button below.
